Established in 1993, Fusion is a competitive dance troupe that promotes creativity, originality, and innovation. They motivate their members to grow in and outside of the team by fostering a highly-collaborative environment that produces strong and versatile dancers. Fusion inspires audiences with high-quality performances and aims to set a standard for New England dance teams by presenting as a professional organization. To build relationships and strengthen bonds within the dance community, Fusion annually hosts ELEMENTS dance competition, one of the biggest dance competitions on the East Coast, the country, and the world. About ELEMENTS:
Over 1,200 in attendance, over 500 dancers from across the East Coast, guest exhibitions from across the nation and around the world——ELEMENTS is one of the largest hip hop dance competitions on the East Coast, planned entirely by a group of college students at Boston University.
Open to all Boston University students, Fusion holds auditions at the start of every fall and spring semester. No prior dance experience is required and auditionees need only bring themselves and a brief “About You” form, published to the Facebook event page for prior completion. Auditions may also be taken as a workshop. We look forward to seeing you there!
